What exactly are the heights and/or distances of the White a Casmere Mountains?
ReplyDeleteAlso what Earth Country is Sescoria primarily based off of?
I didn't have any particular real world country in mind when I conceived Atreya. Obviously, though, a case could be made that it pulls from various western nations.
DeleteWhite Mountains' tallest is Mt. Boress: 3,249 m. (10,659 ft.)
Casmere Mountains' tallest is Mt. Freema: 2,217 m. (7,274 ft.)
I find it very Greek/American with other countries thrown in just for fum
DeleteWhere is vaeland relative to atreya?
DeleteVaeland is to the southeast of Atreya. Not too horribly far, either.
DeleteIs Eleg's wildlife the same as Earth's or are there plants and animals that you made up?
ReplyDeleteThere're a few unearthly lifeforms out there, yeah, but for the most part, it's the same. Won't crop up for a while, though.
DeleteHow'd you make the map?
ReplyDeleteMS Paint, simply enough.
DeleteWhat defines the border of each country? In the real world, borders are usually set on rivers or mountain ranges. If there is none nearby, they are either created through war and fort construction (in which the borders are craggy) or by treaty (usually creating a straight line).
DeleteSo... Mr. Frost... ever tried saying Horsht out loud? You know what it sounds like right? Did you do that on purpose or...
ReplyDeleteEver tried saying Fucking, Austria out loud? That one sounds vaguely like a bad word, but I can't quite remember which...
DeleteSo you did that on purpose then? Is that what you're trying to say?
DeleteVery mature. Good job.
(Also I've been thinking about this and I can't figure out what you seem to think Autria sounds like. Google doesn't know either.)
just want to throw out a congratulations for the all you've got so far (its fine if you ignore this)
